Mikaya TaylorTen year old Mikaya Taylor has entered the Female Bluegrass Vocalist World with a Bang. She is being called "Kentucky’s Singing Angel" and has quite a following at area Festivals and on Social Media. Mikaya lives in a small town called Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. She is in the 5th grade. Mikaya has been singing since she was two around the house.

She has always had a great love for music. She sang her first song publicly at Woodland Arts Festival and following her performance she was immediately booked for Festival of the Bluegrass in 2016. People immediately fell in love with her. On October 19th, 2015 Mikaya was a Woodsongs Kid on the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour with Michael Johnathon. That was the best night of her life!!!

We are so grateful to have had that opportunity. It seems the more she sings the more people want to hear her sing. She has performed on other stages such as Kentucky State BBQ Festival, Meadowgreen Fall Festival, Natasha’s, Churches, Fund Raisers, Pioneer Festival, Fox 56 Event at Evans Orchard, etc.

Mikaya had the pleasure of getting to know Ruth MClain from The legendary MClain family band and Ruth has been one of her biggest supporters and influence in this business. She also got to perform with The Grascals which made her night. Mikaya recently was named as one of the Tomorrow's Bluegrass Stars Kids which was an honor to get to know all the great people who make that program possible.

Mikaya may be new to Bluegrass but she has been on many stages with her participation in local, state and national Beauty Pageants where she holds many winning titles but it was her love of singing that made her leave the pageants and pursue her dreams of performing music.

When off stage, Mikaya is a typical 10 year old who loves basketball, playing with her dog Zoe, and going to church with her Uncle Jordan every Sunday. Mikaya brings new blood to Bluegrass Music with her pure voice...It's kids like Mikaya that will keep Bluegrass Music alive for future generations.

We are now booking her for 2016. If you would like her to be on your stage or if you would like her to appear as a special guest for your band contact us on any of our social media sites.
